Meet Our Team
Michael Swanson » Broker
Mike has nearly 50 years of owning and managing income properties. Before moving to Cape Coral in 2004, Mike owned and managed 140 residential and commercial units in the Seattle area. Mike was active in several industry organizations including the Washington Apartment Association where he was President for two years. The WAA represented over 4000 rental housing owners. Education includes an Associate Degree in Real Estate from Everett Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Washington. Mike has held a Florida Real Estate License since 2009. In his spare time Mike enjoys riding his bike and traveling.
Samuel Kaplan » General Manager, CAM
Samuel is a Florida native, growing up in Spring Hill. He has been working in the customer service and operations management fields for almost 15 years. Samuel graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2014, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. Samuel’s real estate roots started when he worked as an acquisitionist for a cash home buyer. Since then, he has had a part in multiple transactions, most of which being the direct end buyer. His love for marketing and business development has resulted in the creation of a turnkey duplex investment model, combining cash-flowing investments with passive investors. In his free time, Samuel enjoys Jeeping, boating, and classic car restoration. On weekends, he can usually be found at Bonita’s Dog Beach, with his pup and wife.
Danika Haffenden » Office Manager
Danika is a Columbus, Ohio native with 11 years’ experience in property management. She is passionate about the marriage of sales and service, and knows the job only begins when someone says "yes". Danika is committed to helping when she can, and the phrase " that’s not my job" is not in her vocabulary. She takes the role of assisting in the management of one's assets seriously, as "nothing is more personal than the place you call home". In her free time, Danika loves to spend time with her husband Dan and their children, Hunter and Harper, and two dogs, Peyton (Manning) and Vivi. If the Buckeyes are playing, you can bet Danika is watching! If the Browns are playing, she can't watch...she'll check the score later to see how badly they lost.
Dezarae Napier » Senior Property Manager

Originally from Hilton Head Island, SC, Dezarae vacationed in SWFL all her life and spent most of career in accounting with different brokerages. Coming from a family with a RE and construction/handyman background she’s developed a wealth of knowledge when it comes to home repairs, negotiations, and the dos and don’ts of business. Dez is passionate about helping clientele with all their prerequisites and building trusting and everlasting relationships. She is zealous about helping others achieve their goals while also reaching her own. Not only is she Senior Property Manager, but she’s also Secretary for the Southwest Florida Chapter for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and is constantly continuing her education whether it be attending local lunch & learns, webinars or state conferences. When she’s not managing properties, she’s managing her four children!! Dezarae has a fun personality, and you’ll find yourself entertained and laughing when she’s around. She’s easily entertained by animals and can usually be found with a Starbucks cup in her hand.
Christian Salender » Leasing Specialist
Christian is an honorary Floridian having spent a majority of his childhood here in Cape Coral. He received his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. Having over 8 years of customer service experience Christian recently started his second year in the property management field. Eager and excited he is ready to tackle any problems that come his way with a positive attitude. Christian is a lifetime student and always enjoys learning new skills to better himself. In his spare time, Christian enjoys spending time with his beloved German Shepherd, reading the latest Sci-fi novel, and kayaking through Florida's waterways.
Alex Garcia » New Account Specialist
Alex, with over 9 years of experience in Marketing and Sales, has a degree in Communications and Public Relations, she’s always smiling and with a positive attitude welcomes all of our new clients or answers any questions they might have in regards to our services; she never gets tired of knowing new people. She started her career in customer service and since she provided a great experience to customers, took different sales courses and achieved several goals during her career. She likes to always be on top of what the Property Management Industry is offering and the changes in the industry in order to provide our clients with the best deal according to their individual needs. In her free time, Alex loves going to the beach and relaxing, watching series and movies with her husband.
April Galeon » Customer Service Specialist
April, with more than 15 years of customer service experience, worked with different contact centers, became passionate and has pushed herself to the limits. She never gets tired of experiencing and learning new things and one of them is entering the real estate and property management industry. Working as a leasing assistant, she makes sure that all indicators in achieving her daily tasks and responsibilities are being met. Going to the grocery, cleaning/organizing her house and collecting dinner plates are just a few of what she loves to do during her spare time.
Corey Michaels » Accountant
Corey has been with Rentifi since day one. A native of Fort Myers, he grew up in
the area and attended Bishop Verot High School. Corey got his start in business administration back in
2008 while he was still a Senior in high school working as an administrative assistant for an
electronics distributor. This is where he decided to make the change from wanting to be in law
enforcement to business management. Corey Michaels has extensive experience in not only business
administration, but also finance and M&A activity. In his free time, Corey enjoys spending time with
his partner and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
